PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus used in a vehicle is provided to improve heat emitting efficiency of a radiator without increasing a load applied to the vehicle by installing an air amplifying device at a rear portion of the radiator. CONSTITUTION: A cooling apparatus includes a radiator(2) for cooling water heated by an engine. A water pump is installed in a cooling water passage(10). A thermostat(12) is installed in the cooling water passage(10) so as to maintain a temperature of cooling water at a predetermined level. A reservoir tank(16) is connected to an overflow pipe(14) of the radiator(2). An air amplifying device(20) is installed at a rear side of the radiator(2) so as to increase an amount of intake air by supplying compressed air into an air passage. An auxiliary cooling device(40) is provided to spray water towards the radiator(2) when the temperature of cooling water exceeds a predetermined level.
