PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing kick down drum for automatic transmission of automobile is provided to improve performance and life span of the automatic transmission by reinforcing strength of the bending part of the kick down drum installed inside the automatic transmission of automobile. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing kick down drum(10) for automatic transmission of automobile by pressing raw materials in a plate shape using a press, the method for manufacturing the kick down drum for the automatic transmission of automobile is characterized in that thickness of a bent part(30) is thickened as a spline forming part(20) is being pushed toward the bent part(30) by pressing upper and lower parts of the kick down drum(10) using upper die(50) and lower die(60) at the same time after putting into a correction die(40) the kick down drum(10) manufactured in a basic form in which the bent part(30) is formed on the upper part of the spline forming part(20).
