PURPOSE: A convection device of a microwave oven is provided to evenly heat food by uniformly distributing heat in a cavity with formation of smooth airflow in the cavity. CONSTITUTION: A convection device of a microwave oven includes a cavity(20) loading food(F), a heater chamber(32) installed in the upper face of the cavity, heaters(32a,32b) installed in the heater chamber, an axial flow fan(34) installed in the heater chamber, a discharge part(42) formed communicated with the cavity in the lower portion of the axial flow fan, and an intake part(44) communicating the cavity with the heater chamber in opposite to the discharge part. A large portion of the airflow generated via the axial flow fan forms one airflow toward the other side from the eccentric side in the cavity. Therefore, smooth airflows are formed in the cavity and the heat distribution in the cavity becomes even.
