The invention relates to a box for storing and carrying fruit and vegetables. Said box (10) is made of plastic material and comprises a rectangular bottom (12), four walls (14 and 16) and four hollow corner supporting brackets (18), where at least the bottom and the walls are made of stripes of plastic material, having holes (20) cut therein, each of these holes being surrounded, by thermoforming, by the prutberances (22) oriented towards the exterior of the box, and, at least two of these protuberances (22a) are formed on the bottom (12) of the box, excepting at least two of four hollow corner supporting brackets (18), so as to allow the introducing into the hollow corner supporting brackets, adjacent to the inferior box.
