PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card double authentication system for authenticating a credit card doubly. SOLUTION: In the card double authentication system 1, a commodity settling gate device 2, an ID authentication checking and commodity settling device 3, a personal computer 20 in an in-house card management section 4 of a shop, a commodity ID adding device 5, a card management center 6, and a credit card company 7 are connected through a communication line 8 so as to transmit and receive commodity information. A device for personal identification 11 having an individual certificating function certificates an individual by a card ID 9 of the credit card CC a user P uses, and also certificates the individual by a personal ID 10 of the user P to prevent a fraudulent use of the credit card CC. |
