PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp with a low manufacturing cost of which, low beam and high beam can be correctly switched over. SOLUTION: A shade 5 is supported in a cantilever manner by a cantilevered spring member 7. As a result, as the shade 5 moves aslant, the moving distance of the shade 5 is small, and a solenoid 6 can work with small working amount, and the size of the solenoid 6 can be miniaturized and its manufacturing cost is lowered. As the shade 5 is made of thin plate, its weight is lightened. As a result, the driving force of the solenoid 6 as a shade 5 switching means and a spring force of a spring member 7 can be reduced, and the solenoid 6 with small driving force and low cost, and the cantilevered spring member 7 with small spring force and low cost, can be used, and their manufacturing cost are reduced. The switching operation of the shade 5 can be simply and correctly carried out by the solenoid 6 and the cantilevered spring member 7, and high beam and low beam can be correctly switched over. |
