PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider assembly in which the position of a head can be finely adjusted. SOLUTION: A slider assembly 60 for a data storage device is provided with a slider main body 110, a piezoelectric element 130 mounted on the slider main body 110 and a head 140 mounted on the element 130. The slider main body 110 can be moved and the element 130 can be operated to adjust the position of the head with respect to a data storage medium.
