PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player capable of reliably stopping disk rotation prior to disk ejection when a slot-in system is adopted. SOLUTION: The abutting position of a lock member abutting part 109 of a brake member 99 in a brake member abutting part 113 changes according to the movement position of a lock member 45. When the lock member 45 is at a lock position, the lock member abutting part 109 is abutted on the second part 119 of the brake member abutting part 113, and when the lock member 45 is moved to a prescribed position between the lock position and a lock releasing position, the lock member abutting part 109 is abutted on the first part 117 of the brake member abutting part 113. Thus, the lock member abutting part 109 is abutted on the first part 117 of the brake member abutting part 113, the brake member 99 is oscillated and a disk abutting part 107 is abutted on a compact disk D interposed between a clamper and a turn table 25 in the process that the lock member 45 is moved from the lock position to the lock releasing position.
