PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-density information storage apparatus using electronic emission and methods of writing, reading and erasing information using the same. SOLUTION: The high-density information storage apparatus includes a lower electrode 42, a photoconductive layer 44 and a recording medium 40 sequentially provided on the lower electrode 42, a conductive layer converting unit for making the photoconductive layer 44 conductive, a data write and read unit for writing data to the recording medium or reading data recorded in the recording medium, a data loss preventing unit for preventing loss of the data during data write and read and a power supply connected to the lower electrode 42 and the data write and read unit, for supplying voltage necessary for reading and writing operations.
