PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation in position of an image and to reduce processing cost in an image forming apparatus in which printing units are installed alternately on both sides of continuous paper. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, color deviation is generated due to variation in a paper path caused by eccentricity of each driving roll. In order to prevent this, the difference in phase of eccentricity of the roll on a front surface and a back surface is controlled so that the difference in variation in the paper path is minimized.
