LIGHT REFLECTING SHEET, LIGHT TRANSMITTING SHEET AND DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reflecting sheet, a light transmitting sheet and a display body using these at a low cost so that a display image (monochromatic image or full-color image) on the basis of white light having no change in colors with respect to the observation angles can be brightly visualized and that directivity is added to the exiting display light to arbitrarily control the viewing range. SOLUTION: A plurality of patterns consisting of gratings made of rugged structures and light scattering elements made of rugged structures different from the gratings are formed on the surface of a substrate. The light reflecting sheet is obtained by applying a light reflecting layer on the surface of the substrate. The light transmitting sheet is obtained by using the surface of the substrate having light transmitting property.
