<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonlinear voltage type resistor having superior characteristics which does not require removals of particulate form objects. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the nonlinear voltage type resistor has a step for obtaining each compact by using a raw material of each nonlinear voltage type resistor body and has a step for applying the raw material of a first insulation layer to the side surface of each compact and baking it, to form the first insulation layer on each nonlinear voltage type resistor body. Subsequently, even though a second insulation layer is provided on the first insulation layer and a pair of electrodes are provided opposite to each other on both end surfaces of each nonlinear voltage type resistor body, bakings of the compacts are conducted to store in a baking furnace separately from each other the compacts 1 and a common ground material 8, made of the same raw material as that of each nonlinear voltage type resistor body.</p> |
