<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power unit which informs the user of it when it is unable to be charged or discharged, has a cooling function, and is equipped with a nickel/cadmium battery capable of coping with high temperature as a storage battery. SOLUTION: This portable power unit 10 houses a converter part 12, an inverter 13, and the storage battery 14 within a casing 11. The above storage battery 14 is a nickel/cadmium battery, and the above casing 11 is equipped with a temperature detector 15 within and has informing functions 29 and 30, the above temperature detector 15 detects the internal temperature of the casing 11, and at or over a preset temperature, it informs the user of it by a buzzer sound and a lamp.</p> |
