PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-direction input device that has a good operating feeling. SOLUTION: This is a multi-direction input device that detects the operating direction and operating amount by a plurality of distortion detectors provided at the elastic plate which is transformed by being pressed by the operating unit. The operating unit 70 is composed of a frame part 71, a skirt part 72 that rises from the frame part 71, a circular operating part 73 that is supported by the skirt part 72 at whole circumferences, a circular pressing part 74 that is provided on the inner face of the operating part 73, and a pressing protrusion 75. When the operating part 73 is pressed down, the skirt part 72 is buckled, thereby, an appropriate operating feeling is obtained.
