PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement gauge capable of accurately measuring only the amount of displacement in the distance between two points corresponding to a change due to plastic deformation of a component member. SOLUTION: The displacement gauge 1 is provided with a main body 10 fixed to a first section B of the component member A, a slider 20 which comprises a part fixed to a second section C of the component member A and is supported at the main body 10 in such a way as to be freely moved in parallel, and a measuring implement 100 for measuring the amount of parallel movement with respect to the main body of the slider 20 caused according to a change in the distance between the first section B and the second section C. Only when the distance between the first section B and the second section C changes beyond the amount of displacement corresponding to a change due to elastic deformation of the component member A, the amount of parallel movement is measured with the measuring implement 100.
