PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for joining a pile and a column together, which can ease bending moment concentrated on a pile head part of a foundation pile during earthquakes, and enables labor savings in the execution of work and a significant reduction in cost. SOLUTION: The foundation pile 1 is formed in the ground; the column 2 is erected on the pile head part of the foundation pile 1; and a footing beam 3 is joined to both sides of the column 2. A plurality of binding materials 4 are vertically mounted between the foundation pile 1 and the footing beam 3 in such a manner as to lie astride them. Upper and lower end sides 4a and 4b of the binding materials 4 are anchored to the footing beam 3 and the foundation pile 1, respectively. The foundation pile 1 is formed of a concrete-filled steel tube (CFT) in which a steel tube 1a is filled with concrete 1b; both the column 2 and the footing beam 3 are formed of wide flange shapes; a base plate 5 is mounted at a lower end of the column 2; and a shear-force transferring member 6 is provided on the downside of the base plate 5.
