The ear clip (1), designed to act in a similar way to acupuncture, has two flexible metal or plastics branches (2a,2b) fitted with curved end plates (3,4) that grip the inner and outer surfaces of the ear (5). The smaller, inner plate has projections (6) that press against the inner surface of the ear, while the larger, outer plate has a smooth surface. Two different marked clips are used for the right and left ear, and the pressure applied by them is adjustable.
