The clothes hanger has a central yoke (1), to which the arms (3, 4) are attached by pivots (5, 6). This allows the arms to be folded down so that the hanger can be inserted through the neck of a garment. A shoulder on a bolt (7') at the base of the yoke cooperates with lugs on the undersides of the arms to hold them in the folded position.
