PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for estimating toner usage. SOLUTION: The method 100 and the device for estimating the toner usage is based on a pulse width count and a pulse edge count. The method includes a step 110 of determining the pulse width count, a step 115 of determining the pulse edge count and a step 120 of calculating the toner usage based on the pulse width count and the pulse edge count. The device is constituted so as to perform the aforesaid method. |
