PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera control system capable of displaying a newest image as a monitor image at all times. SOLUTION: The camera control system always periodically repeats processes of composing a plurality of images of a range photographed by a camera 2, generating a panorama image, and displaying the image on a screen of a display device 3 as a monitor image. When a user enters a photographing point denoting a photographing canter of the camera onto the monitor image via an entry device 4 to make a camera control request, the system displays a popup menu for designating photographing magnification of the camera on the screen, when the user designates a desired photographing magnification from the popup menu by using the entry device 4, the camera 2 takes a zoom value corresponding to the photographing magnification, a camera controller 1 calculates photographing information to bring the photographing point to the center of the photographed image, photographs one picture according to the photographing information calculated by means of the camera 2 and displays the picture on the screen.
