PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise endurance of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A corrugated-plate-like step-projected part is provided on an outer wall 10 of the heat exchanger of a hot water supply water heater. By this constitution, even if a dislocation is caused by thermal expansion of the wall 10, the dislocation is absorbed by the corrugated-plate-like step-projected part 13 so that breakage due to thermal stress is avoided to enhance endurance.
