PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device, a damping structure, and a damping structural body capable of enabling brace members to be designed by tensile force only by eliminating compression force applied to the brace members, achieving light weight of the brace members by reducing cross sectional performance, and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In a skeleton composed of columns 1 and 1 and beams 2 and 2, the upper side of a plastic body 3 is jointed with a center part of the upper beam 2, and two brace members 5 and 5 are jointed on the underside of the plastic body 3 through gusset plates 4. These brace members 5 and 5 are respectively jointed with beam joint parts of both columns on the underside through gusset plates 4. Compression deformation releasing devices 6 and 6 are respectively installed on middle parts of the brace members 5 and 5.
