PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall construction method which is carried out according to the wood frame construction method, facilitates sash mounting and interior finish, and imparts earthquake resistant performance to the structure. SOLUTION: According to the wall construction method, a faced substrate wall member, such as a wooden plate and plywood, having a thickness of 25 mm or more is stuck to the outside of a wooden frame, and a sash is directly fixed to the faced substrate wall member. An indoor side of the faced substrate wall member is interior-finished and therefore the indoor side is available as it is. By virtue of the faced substrate wall member, the earthquake resisting performance of the wooden frame is enhanced.
