PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items, to reduce a time for assembly, in its turn so as to reduce a cost, in a knocking detector. SOLUTION: This knocking detector 2 comprises: a support member 20; a detecting element 21 mounted thereon; a weight 24; a detection electrode 22 interposing from vertically the detection terminal 21; an insulation member 23 mounted between the detection electrode 22 and the support member 20 and between the detection electrode 22 and the weight 24; an electrode terminal 25; and a cover 26. The weight 24 is formed with an internal thread part, so that a single unit itself is fixed to the support member 20, each of the parts is fixed to the support member 20 without using a washer and a nut required as in the past.
