The key is made in two sections (2,3) that can be adjusted relative to one another in line with the lengthwise axis of the musical instrument and fixed in a new position. One part (3) of the key has a spatula end and two elongated slots (3a, 3b); the other part is an arm (2) with a threaded hole for a fastening screw (5) inserted through one slot and a cylindrical pivot (1) that fits in the other slot.
