PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight unit for transmission type display device of which, slight error of the screen mounting position is allowed and a restriction on a design is relaxed, realizing an improvement of production efficiency and lowering of rejection rate. SOLUTION: A function of shading unnecessary light, as a shading member, is allotted to a part of a diffusion sheet, further, the shading member is made to partake the function of reflecting back the irradiation light of the light source toward a reflection sheet. |
