<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate detecting device having improved shield detecting accuracy. SOLUTION: The coordinate detecting device 1 comprises an irradiation part 4 for irradiating a touch panel 3 along its panel surface 3a with a light L diverged in a sector form, a retroreflection part 7 for retroactively reflecting the light from the irradiation part 4, and a light receiving part 14 for receiving the reflected light C from the retroreflection part 7. When the light L is shielded by the shield 12, the shielded position is detected. The retroreflection part 7 has a retroreflection plate 19b inclined at a preset angle to the panel surface 3a.</p> |
