PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging circuit of a secondary battery which generates little heat and a small power loss and can detect a full-charge state of the secondary battery with high precision. SOLUTION: This charging circuit has a constant current circuit unit which is connected in series between a prescribed DC power supply and a secondary battery, and outputs one of two predetermined constant currents to the secondary battery according to an inputted control signal, a constant voltage circuit unit which is connected in parallel with the constant current circuit unit and applies a prescribed constant voltage to the secondary battery for charging, a battery voltage detecting circuit unit which detects the voltage of the secondary battery and outputs the detected voltage, a charging current detecting circuit unit which outputs a prescribed charging finish signal when a current output from the constant voltage circuit unit is stopped, and a charging control circuit unit which stops the operations of the constant current circuit unit and the constant voltage circuit unit when the charging finish signal is inputted.
