PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera which is easily operated without being affected by parallax. SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes imaging means (2, 3) for obtaining an image signal obtained from an image formed through a taking lens, a viewfinder by which a viewer views an object, a display means 13 for displaying the image on the basis of the image signal obtained from the imaging means, a distance information detection means 7 for detecting information with respect to a distance up to the object, and a display control means 7 for controlling the indication of the display means to be set depending on the result of detection by the distance information detection means. |
