PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EPG (electrical program guide) information screen generating device and an EPG screen generating method by which a user can view a list indicative of which recording device records reserved programs on an EPG screen. SOLUTION: A tuner device information retrieval means 20 retrieves and acquires tuner device information, a recording device information retrieval means 21 retrieves and acquires recording device information, an EPG information retrieval means 23 retrieves and acquires EPG information from the tuner device information, a reservation information retrieval means 25 retrieves and acquires reservation information of a tuner device or a recording device on the basis of reservation information storage device information, and an EPG screen generating means 24 generates the EPG screen and a reservation information screen by using the tuner device information, the recording device information, the EPG information and/or the reservation information.
