PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology related to an electronic program guide information processor that can provide detailed information of programs to a viewer by its simple operation on an electronic program guide of a digital broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: The electronic program guide information processing apparatus includes; a means for receiving a television broadcast signal on which first program information comprising main information such as a program title and a broadcast schedule time and second program information (e.g. preview video information) comprising auxiliary information of programs and related to the first program information are multiplexed; a means for extracting the multiplexed first and second program information; a means for generating an electronic program guide assembling program information of a plurality of programs into one screen on the basis of the extracted first program information; a means for linking with the second program information related to the respective program incorporated in the electronic program guide; and an output means for outputting and displaying the electronic program guide on the basis of a display request by an entry means and capable of displaying the corresponding second program information on an optional area of the display screen on the basis of an instruction operation by the entry means.
