PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic gear pump effectively improving the fatigue strength of a body while keeping a compact and light structure, and obtaining a high-pressure resisting property more than ever. SOLUTION: This hydraulic gear pump comprises the body, a body hole formed on the body and holding a pair of gears, a discharging chamber having a bottom surface orthogonal to an inner peripheral surface and discharging hydraulic oil from the pair of the gears, a discharging port opening to an outer surface of the body, and a communicating passage communicating the discharging chamber and the discharging port. In the hydraulic gear pump, a curved portion having a radius generally same as a diameter of the communicating passage opening to the discharging chamber is provided from the inner peripheral surface to the bottom surface of the discharging chamber.
