摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker by making level-shifted voltages ΔVs roughly equal on potential of pixel electrodes at the time gate pulses of respective pixels of R, G, B are turned OFF roughly equal in a color liquid crystal display device having multiple gap structure. SOLUTION: When a pixel capacitance, an auxiliary capacitance and a parasitic capacitance are defined respectively as Clc, Cs and Cgs in this color liquid crystal display device and when a gate pulse is turned OFF, a level-shifted voltage ΔV=(Cgs)/(Cgs+Clc+Cs) is generated on the potential of a pixel electrode. When a display device is the liquid crystal display device having the multiple gap structure, pixel capacitances Clc of respective pixels are different. Thereupon, in order to make level-shifted voltages ΔVs of the respective pixels roughly equal, for example, auxiliary capacitances Cs are corrected. Thus, areas of auxiliary capacitance electrodes 48R, 48G, 48B of the respective pixels are made to be smaller in this order.
