PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type liquid crystal cell which suppresses a light leakage caused in an opening part between pixels. SOLUTION: A plurality of pixels provided with a reflection layer are arrayed, the opening part is disposed in the reflection layer of an adjacent gap area and translucency is provided in the liquid crystal cell 100. A light controlling means 19 for reducing the re-feedback of an outer light which is made incident from the display surface of the liquid crystal cell 100 and passes to the rear surface of the cell 100 through the opening part in a display surface direction is arranged at least at the position of the opening part in the rear surface of the liquid crystal cell 100.
