<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminate for a wiper suitable for a wet type wipe such as wet tissues or disposable wet towels, and a dry type wipe such as toilet papers for an adult or sweat papers, having softness, good surface touch and water retainability simultaneously, and especially suitable for human use. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a laminate for a wiper having excellent softness, surface touch and water retainability comprises the following steps: a pulp fiber layer is placed between two layers of fiber webs consisting of 20-80 wt.% of a hydrophilic fiber, 0-40 wt.% of a polyester fiber and 20-80 wt.% of a heat-bondable fiber; then, the fiber web layers are subjected to a high-pressure water stream treatment by ejecting jet stream from a nozzle in which orifices are placed with intervals of 0.3-1.5 mm to entangle fibers three-dimensionally; and subsequently, the fiber web layers are heat-treated at a temperature at which only the heat-bondable fiber melts.</p> |
