<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner in a dry binary system, a dry nonmagnetic monocomponent system or a dry magnetic monocomponent system excellent in fixability, light transmittance, clearness and, particularly, transferability of copied images of an electrostatic image developing system copying machine and a printer. SOLUTION: The electrostatic image developing toner consists essentially of a bonding resin comprising a polyolefin resin containing at least a cyclic structural unit, a colorant and a charge controlling agent, in a measurement of the polyolefin resin by GPC (gel permeation chromatography), the number average molecular weight (Mn) of the polyolefin resin is 2,000-5,000, the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 4,000-50,000 and the ratio of Mw to Mn is 1.5-2.5, and the content of the polyolefin resin based on the entire bonding resin is >=50 wt.%.</p> |
