PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber blade with suppressed rubber-peeling at a low cost, to provide a developing blade unit for suppressing a variation in the contact pressure of the developing blade, and to provide a developing device and a process cartridge having stable developing characteristics, constituted so that an image of uneven density and a fogged image, etc., may not be outputted. SOLUTION: As to the typical constitution of the developing device, the developing blade unit 1 is provided with a developing sleeve 4 for carrying/ transferring developer, the developing blade 2 having the leading end part which comes into contact with the developing sleeve 4 so as to travel toward the upstream side in the moving direction of the developing sleeve 4 and for forming a developer layer on the developing sleeve 4, and a supporting plate 3 for supporting the developing blade 2, a soft elastic member 11 is arranged between the supporting plate 3 and the developing blade 2. |
