PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize an existing gas turbine power generating installation for achieving generating power satisfying the demand of a user and improving the generating efficiency when a generating load required by the user exceeds the generating power of the existing gas turbine power generating installation. SOLUTION: The gas turbine power generating installation having two-shaft reheat regenerative cycles comprises a generator and an inverter provided on each shaft to form a reheat regenerative cycle structure operable with both shafts having the independent numbers of rotation. It is a second feature that a boosting gas turbine power generating installation is connected to the existing regenerative gas turbine power generating installation as a base by performing relatively easy changing work for high-temperature gas piping to form the two-shaft reheat regenerative cycle structure.
