PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-hung window capable of using vertical frames in common, reducing a cost, and of improving design in respective double-hung windows of a single hung system and a double hung system. SOLUTION: This double-hung window has a window frame formed by framing the four periphery of an upper frame, a lower frame, and the left and right vertical frames 30, and a paper sliding screen incorporated into the window frame. The vertical frames 30 have a vertical frame body 31, an indoor side guide piece 32 projected from the vertical frame body 31, and an intermediate partition piece 33 projected from the vertical frame body 31. A FIX window attachment 45 for holding a face material and a guide attachment 50 for guiding the outer paper sliding screen can be selectively attached to and detached from the outdoor side of the intermediate partition piece 33. Since the respective form of double-hung windows can be constituted by replacing the respective attachments 45 and 50, the vertical frames 30 can be used in common so that the cost can be reduced, and the design can be improved by that extent.
