PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device capable of gathering and arranging the units of an upper stage part of the automatic transaction device in a lower position, and is superior in operability for various users by singly unitizing the function of processing a payment note and a bankbook. SOLUTION: An inserting port 1 capable of inserting the payment note and the bankbook, a taking-in part 3 for automatically taking in the payment note and the bankbook inserted from this inserting port 1, a magnetic stripe reading- writing part 5 for reading and writing data to a magnetic stripe of the bankbook taken in by the taking-in part 3, an image reading part 7 for detecting a page mark, a printing line, and the printing concentration of the bankbook, and reading in an image of the whole bankbook, and a printing part 10 for printing to the payment note and the bankbook are provided in one unit 102, and are constituted so as to process the payment note and the bankbook in this one unit.
