PURPOSE: A waist protecting chair is provided to protect the waist of those who is sitting on chair for a long time without causing pains or disorder of the waist. CONSTITUTION: The waist protecting chair comprises arm seats(1) that are secured on a suitable position. The respective arm seats(3) are secured by using a corresponding fixing hole(2), wherein the height of the arm seats is controlled. A fixing shaft(4) turns the fixing handle(5) so to be placed properly. A fixing plate(9) is provided on the both sides of chest. The waist protecting chair has a seat portion for hips that is higher than surface of the other chair so that user is able to work while seating on the waist protecting chair.
