PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for positioning control capable of surely stopping the movement of a load to be controlled at a short braking distance at the time of the occurrence of signal abnormality. SOLUTION: The load 11 to be controlled is shifted linearly along a driving transmission means 12 along with rotation by a rotation driving means 10, the rotation driving means 10 is feedback-controlled so that a position detecting signal S6 of the rotation driving means 10 may meet a position command signal S1, and the load 11 to be controlled is located and stopped at an objective position of the position command signal S1. When abnormality of the position detecting signal S6 and a phase detecting signal S7 of the rotation driving means 10 is detected, the position command signal S1 is changed so that the objective position thereof may be a position next to a current position of the rotation driving means 10, the normal signals of the position detecting signal S6 and the phase detecting signal S7 are feedback-controlled so as to meet the position command signal S1, and the rotation driving means 10 is stopped with deceleration. |
