摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent internal stress from being generated owing to a difference between the thermal expansions of the inner and outer walls of a heat insulating vessel caused by temperature difference, which vessel has double-structured walls and is used in a fuel reforming apparatus. SOLUTION: The fuel reforming apparatus is provided with a reformer 2 in which a catalyst 6 producing hydrogen gas from fuel is housed and the heat insulating vessel 3 which is arranged on the outside of the reformer 2 and has such a double wall structure that a cavity part 11 is formed between the heat insulating walls 9 of the inner wall 9a and the outer wall 9b. An elastic bellows 16 is formed in the periphery of the wall 9b. Many metallic sheets 12 are disposed in the part 11 so that heat is not transmitted to the side of the wall 9b.</p>
