PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring a reflection model parameter of a point on the surface of a subject from an image obtained by imaging a subject and an image processing circuit for separating the image of the subject into a diffusive reflection component and a mirror reflection component by using the acquired reflection model parameter. SOLUTION: The reflection model parameter can be accurately and stably acquired by determining the reflection model parameter of the point by a parameter fitting method from a change in a signal value of a picture element on images caused by rotation of the point on the object surface by using a plurality of images imaged by rotating the object, and the image of the object is separated into the diffusive reflection component and the mirror reflection component by using the acquired reflection model parameter.
