PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup system capable of surely restoring a data base for preserving a checked result or the like outputted from a document processor for checking a document into a state just before the data base is destroyed. SOLUTION: A terminal 3 connected to a processor 1 is connected to a data base server 5, and the processor 1 is provided with functions 11 and 15 for generating data to be backed up by each certain processing unit, and for storing the data in a memory 13, and for transmitting the data to the terminal 3, and the terminal 3 is provided with a function for adding and preserving the data received from the processor 1 in a file 23 each time, and for transmitting the data for a fixed period preserved in the file 23 to the data base server 5, and the data base server is provided with functions 33 and 37 for preserving the latest data for a fixed period received from the terminal 3 in the data base 31, and for preserving the contents of the data base 31 in a media for backup in a fixed cycle. |
