PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate and a transflective electrooptical device securing both brightness in a reflective display and chroma in a transmissive display and to reduce difference in color between the reflective display and the transmissive display. SOLUTION: A reflection layer 211 provided with opening parts 211a is formed on a substrate 201, subsequently a translucent layer 214 is partially formed, and the color filter 212 provided with coloring layers 212r, 212g, 212b is formed on them. In the coloring layer thick parts 212H provided on non- forming regions of the translucent layer 214 are formed.
