<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester composition that has excellent crystallization- controllability and shoes excellent continuous moldability for a long time, when the composition is molded and to provide hollow articles having excellent transparency, heat-resistant dimensional stability, particularly shrinkage at the stopper opening of a bottle comes in a suitable shrinkage range, without residual foreign taste and smell, when liquid bottles, sheets and oriented films are produced from the composition. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises polyester chips including ethylene terephthalate as main recurring units and polyester fines having the same composition as that of the polyester chips where the crystallization temperature of the fines is <=195 deg.C measured by the differential scanning calorimetry while the temperature is being lowered.</p> |
