PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein in a configuration for breathing and reducing blow-by gas passing through a breather chamber, a rocker arm cham ber is subjected to negative pressure to permit the abrupt entry of the blow-by gas into an intake manifold and cause the movement of more oil components to an inlet side. SOLUTION: In the configuration for breathing and reducing the blow-by gas passing through the breather chamber, a pressure regulating valve 18 is provided in a blow-by gas outlet portion of the breather chamber 22 for regulating pressure in the breather chamber 22 and a throttle 16a is formed in an inlet portion of the intake manifold 16 for admitting the blow-by gas passing through the breather chamber 22.
