PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reliably detectable the locations of a plurality of rubber members. SOLUTION: A carcass ply 22 is pasted onto an inner liner 20 in a tire forming drum 10. The inner liner 20 is made to be black, and the coating rubber of the carcass ply 22 is made to be white. Since the inner liner 20 is different in color from the carcass ply 22, it is possible to accurately detect the location of the inner liner 20 and the location of the carcass ply 22 through the use of a color television camera 14.
