HEAD OF AUGER TYPE ICE MAKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send out compressed ice in radial directions to an auger screw to efficiently store the compressed ice in a stocker. SOLUTION: The head 28 rotatable together with an auger screw 14 has a cut 30 at the downside of its cylindrical body 28a. The cut 30 has a slope 30a radially outwards inclined up away from the bottom end. The head 28 is eccentrically mounted on the auger screw 14 so that the circumcircle of the lower end of the cut 30 is concentric to the screw 14, and the angleθof inclination of the slope 30a to the outer side of the body 28a is set to be equal over the entire circumference. Eccentric rotation of the head 28 to the axial center C2 of the screw 14 positively exerts a sending force in radial directions on compressed ice from the eccentrically shifting outer side of the body 28a.
